About the Artist
Elna Stone
A well known artist in the Lake Region Area, Elna Stone has created and accurately expressed the beauty of the Town of Bridgton and surrounding country area for five or more years. After several years painting in oils, she experienced the watercolor flair and the appeal it brings to the eye. A true artist in her own right, Elna has won many awards in oils and watercolors locally in Maine and out of state. For those who live in the area or maybe those considering visiting the Lake Region area, stop by Gallery 302 located on Main Street in Bridgton and see her wonderful collection.
St. Peter’s Calendars
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church is very blessed to have as a parish member Elna Stone, a local watercolor artesian. For a number of years, Elna has produced 12 prints from her exquisite seasonal paintings and creating each year a calendar to use as one of St. Peter’s Outreach Fundraisers. Her 2010 calendar renditions truly capture the warm sense of a Maine community. The vibrant colors within the monthly scenes and the details given in each location, is impeccable.
