About us

St. Peter's is a broad church in the Episcopal tradition. This means we are not what is called high church or such a high liturgy that everything is in it's place. We use the Book of Common Prayer and Enriching Our Worship for our liturgical line up in the church year. We also use prayers for creation from Daily Prayer for all Seasons or liturgies from the Episcopal Diocese of Maine for our Creation worship and our Blessing of the Pets in September and October. We are incorporating new music, which is easy to learn and some have hand motions. We hope you will come and visit us some Sunday or check out our Outreach page to learn ways you can participate without attending. Blessings.
